Christian influence?

It seemed to have several pro-Christian messages to me beyond what I would expect from any Christmas-related movie. Perhaps one or more of the makers was hoping to boost the religion's PR, or simply trying hard not to offend god. Or I'm just dreaming.

I really have no idea what you mean...
In my opinion this is obviously a film that makes fun of a certain suburban culture, in this case "bangers" in Canada.

If there are any Christian elements in it, than it's probably an unintended side effect of the subjects of the film being from a (white) Christian part of the world. But this would be one of the last films in the world where I would go searching for a pro-Christian message to be honest. :P

Well I hated this film, simply didn't "Get it"
I also hate Christianity and anything generally related to it (Except some Christian Rock, I hate myself but it's so damn catchy)

Maybe you're right, maybe I picked up on the Christian propaganda vibes and that's the reason I detested the movie so much.
