I know they took down your information..but couldn't a person place a large bet and then not pay any money if they lost and just not make any more bets? I know they take your information but you could give fake info..its over the phone. The whole idea of the drop was pretty silly to me, it seemed like way too much work. Why didn't they do a PO box?

Because if they got caught, the PO box could be traced back to them since it's registered to them.

The use of book drop bins and unused library books to distribute money was a completely ludicrous idea. There are so many things that could go wrong that it is damn near comical.

Their players probably assume they're going to win. You don't want to give bogus info and have problems collecting. They probably figured honesty was best when it involved their money and getting paid out.
