don't forget Hawaiian fake id and McLovin is almost a clone of the one kid with dark hair, black frame glasses... but i still like superbad better yet it is very obvious that there are alot of coincidences for the makers of superbad to have not seen this movie... just take the making a porno mission out and put in getting to the party with booze and there's superbad...

Superbad didn't steal sh[%]it, and it was written in the late '90s.

Every teen movie has either two friends or a group of three friends. If it's just two guys, then one is normal or shy and the other is wild/outgoing or perverted. Modern examples are Clerks, Tommy Boy, Fired Up!, etc. but it goes all the way back to Abbott & Costello and Martin & Lewis.

If it's three guys or more, there's the horny/wild one (often with curly hair), the uber-nerd (often with glasses), and one or two in the middle; pretty normal and sometimes actually cool (and they often have long hair/bangs). The earliest examples I can find were from the '80s. I can't think of any by name but it's not because they don't exist. The Girl Next Door, College, American Pie, Road Trip, Eurotrip, Ferris Bueller to an extent, and probably stuff like Risky Business, Porky's and similar fare but I haven't seen those in a long time.
