Fitzgerald's Residence

Fitzgerald moved to an apartment on Laurel Avenue in Hollywood in June 1940, about six months before he died. His apartment was about three blocks from Sheilah Graham's. If Frances drove Scott from his place to Sheilah's, it wouldn't have required the long ride in the rain. (In fact, if he was up to it, it could have been walked in five minutes.)

Yes, this is true but for simplicity's sake the movie just takes place at Fitzgerald's house in Encino (just like the cheesy 50s movie Beloved Infidel takes place at Fitzgerald's Garden of Allah apt. and his Malibu apt. where he lived before Encino). It also slightly bothered me that they made Scott addicted to Pepsi on the wagon instead of the well-documented Coke!

Do you think we might have had a little product-placement going on?
