Does anyone here remember a version of Alice in Wonderland on the Disney Channel during the early nineties? I was in love with that show, but I can't find it's name or anything. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

p.s. You have no power over me...

Does anyone remember a circus type show that was on around the same time as Under the Umbrella Tree? It was like people in animal costumes or something like that. Thanks.

reply

Yes I do! With all of those animals! I watched it, but unfortunately don't remember the name....sorry...

reply

Moonshadow and mjc, the show you guys
are thinking about was Dumbo's Circus. :o)

DC was one of my favorite shows growing up.
On occasion, I still find myself humming the
DC theme song, even after all these years.

Retrojunk.com even has a clip of the show's intro sequence in its entirety.
The direct link to it is: http://www.retrojunk.com/details_theme/298/

Welcome to Pooh Corner and Fraggle Rock were a few other good
live-action shows that were on around the same time as Dumbo's Circus
and Under the Umbrella Tree. Ah, the sweet memories of yester-year..

reply

I forgot the names to my favorite shows when I was younger and you just listed them all!! Thank you so much for reminding me of the greatest kid shows of all time and bringing back great memories.

Haha no problem :)

It was called "Adventures in Wonderland." Elisabeth Harnois, who was in "My Date with the President's Daughter," played Alice. Maybe that will help. If I think of anything else I'll post it.
