Just caught this show on tv, where the DPP was applying for adoption, and a judge said at the bench that it was "dangerous" or risky or improper for children to be adopted by gay parents.
It's unpleasant to see such open bigotry in a show like this.
A lot of people still (many of them the 'super-GOOD' religious types) get a lot of pleasure out of routine bigotry.
One of their all-time-favourite bigotry targets, is Homosexuality.
I can't see the bigots letting go of this one in the near future - they enjoy it too much, as it is one of the easiest bigotries to disguise as "righteous" (by their own selective definition).
