I like this intro the best

I like this intro much more than the original one. I suppose it's because I grew up watching this show on CN.

This intro gives me a headache. It's such an awful synthesized beat, one that plays over and over and over again, even through the episode. It's awful.

OK, so what's the speed of dark?

I have to agree with the op. I like the 'G-Force' theme/intro. The 'Battle of the Planets' theme sounds like the MECO disco version of the 'Star Wars' theme to me.

At least it's music and not a repetitive syntho beat. It'd be different if they even tried to come up with something that used an ounce of talent for the additional music in G-Force, but they didn't.

I'll absolutely give you your point on it being more tuneful, but that for me isn't the end all, be all. I just prefer the G-Force into; voice-over and all. "Five teenage champions... G-Force!" etc.

Agree to disagree .

I love the G-Force intro over the BOTP one but the best is the japanese intro =)

The incidental music is terrible and the voicework rather bland; but, the stories are mostly faithfully translated from Gatchaman. That said, the Battle of the Planets version had much better voicework and new music, plus the original Japanese incidental music. The only black mark against it was altering stories and adding the Z-Zark_7 footage (and some other stock shots) to cover for deleted footage. If you could marry the BOTP voice artsists and music, with the G-Force scripts, you'd almost have the original Gatchaman, apart from the series finale.
