I used to watch this allll the time on Cartoon Network way back when. This show was awesome.

Watch the new Gatchaman DVDs by ADV. It stays completely true to the original, has an awesome voice cast, and runs through all 105 episodes. G-Force pretty much kept everything in tact from Gatchaman, but you had to suffer through bad synthesizer music, bad voice acting, and lousy names which, in the end, drags the entire proceeding down. Watch the original now that it is available.

OK, so what's the speed of dark?
As I recall, this aired on TBS when I was a kid. I'd grown up with Battle of the Planets, and by the time it was rejiggered into G-Force: Guardians of Space, I was a teen. But I still watched it occasionally, not remembering BotP well enough to draw a distinction between the two, and it would be well over a decade still before I knew that it/they had originally been Gatchaman.

Wow...I think I could have written this verbatim about me! But, the more I watched G-Force, the more I missed Battle of the Planets. That repetitive disco music still haunts me and gives me headaches.
