Ok...watching season 5 on BBCAmerica...and I'm WAITING! Talk about false advertizing! The whole reason I even slogged through season 4 was the promise of Joan Collins mano a mano with Tanya. If they're saving it for last, I don't know if I can last.
Tanya appears in the final moments of tonight's episode. It is actually the same scene we saw at the end of Season 4. Next week is her first episode back and also marks Joan Collin's debut on Footballers' Wive$.
These were my favourite episodes of FOOTBALLERS WIVE$!!
The season 5 finale, is THE Single Best Season Finale ive ever seen, Besides HOLLYOAKS: IN THE CITY! (These are the best two season finales ive ever seen!!!)
No offense lovers-players, but if that's the best finale you've ever seen, I'll have to assume that you're only newly acquainted with the modern technology we call the television. That was SO predictable and lame, it felt more just like a regular mid-season episode from back in the golden days of the earlier seasons. And Tanya going to some club she's never been to alone with Garry Ryan where he offers her, ahem, *stuff* that she can't be sure isn't drugged/poisoned especially after what Jackie's just told her? PUH-LEEZE! How did the brilliant schemer that managed to redeem herself from the brink of manslaughter only to marry her own victim without anyone being the wiser get suckered into such a stupid position? It's just total disrespect for her character on the part of the writers....simply because they're pathetic and can't come up with good enough ideas to keep the show actually watchable. I am actually glad that the show is over, because I couldn't have borne it continuing in the state that it was at the end.
