Which episode was it, when........?

I saw an epsiode last night. This girl had this guy put on lip stick before she would kiss him. I think the boy was gay from what I gathered. They were "helping" each other but not having sex. She was in love with her best friend, who didn't share her feelings. Does anyone know this one?
