Similar show?

"Strangers" is the show most similar to "Bliss" that I can think of. It was on HBO about 10 years ago. All of the episodes were set (and shot on location) in France. The episodes were well-written and often featured very talented actors and actresses. Unfortunately, I don't think you'll be able to find it on video.

The only other show that comes close is "Red Shoe Diaries," which was on Showtime in the mid-1990s. To me, "Red Shoe Diaries" was in the middle between shows like "Bliss and "Strangers" on one end, and Cinemax shows like "Sex Games" and "Hotel Erotica" on the other end. "Red Shoe Diaries" had actors and actresses that you might recognize, rather than the usual soft-core suspects.
