There was a commercial on G4 TV today that said Banzai was coming starting March 7, I believe. They're starting to remind me of SpikeTV, showing much more male-oriented shows rather than actual games and technology shows.

They def are following Spike TV. Like with Star Trek they PLUG the hell out of it during the commercial break, then when the show gets back they have the Star Trek pop up ad, Spike TV did the same thing.

...I really don't think I'll be watching this show. The concept of it sounds cool, but when I look at some of the things they are actually doing, like exploding roaches in the microwave...I think that's pretty sick.

it has a lot of british celebrities in it, but not ones that anybody outside the uk will have heard of.
that was the beauty of Banzai when it aired in Britain, it dredged up loads of z-list celebrities who didn't know exactly what they were letting themselves in for.
you also get some obscure 70s, 80s and 90s music that somehow fits perfectly with the absurd goings on.
i loved it but i have a very unusual sense of humour
