I just read this one a movie website (vgflicks) and couldn't believe it. I honestly don't know if it has any real chance to get greenlit and go into production, but it sure sounded interesting - especially the "Superbad meets Zombieland meets Home Alone". Honestly, it sounds kind of silly but depending on how funny the script is, who knows.

Cult classic SNES horror parody video game Zombies Ate My Neighbors is currently being planned to be turned into a movie.

A script has been written by newcomer John Darko, and is described as “Superbad + Zombieland + Home Alone”. It’s a coming-of-age comedy, with zombies. And yes, protagonists Zeke and Julie still feature.

I'm guessing Disney's purchase of Lucasfilm has put these plans on hold if not killed them outright.

Frankly, maybe it's for the best. Modern Hollywood would probably just #$%^ it up, anyway.

If this is a consular ship, where is the ambassador?
