IYH: Great White North Review
Before the ppv gets underway Gorilla Monsoon announces Shawn Michaels will not be defending the IC title due to the ass kicking he got from a bunch of marines in a Syracuse bar for flirting with one of their female members. Shawn must now surrender the IC title to Dean Douglas who will defend it against Razor Ramon. Another moment of devaluing for the IC title. Why not just hold up the damn thing instead of giving it to Dean when he's just gonna drop it inside of 15 minutes?

Fatu Vs Hunter Hearst Helmsley
What a screwy crowd those Canadians are. They were actually cheering for Hunter!!! Typical raw stuff. Hunter pedigrees Fatu after Rikishi misses something and gets the win just 8 minutes into the match. Meh 1 1/2 star. Henry Godwin sneakes down postmatch with the slop bucket and chases Helmsley away.

The Smokin Gunns Vs Razor Ramon and The 1-2-3 Kid
Razor's pulling double shifts tonight. He and the Kid seem to have patched things up and now Razor has a chance to win two titles. Razor and Kid doing well against the champs. Razor and Kid look like they will win it but Billy rolls up the kid and gets a suprise pin around the 12 minute mark. Kid throws a tantrum and attacks the Gunns. Razor interferes and they squabble. Kid is about 3 steps away from going heel. Im going 2 stars.

Marty Jannetty Vs Goldust
Goldust making his ppv debute and his entrance music sounds like it's stuck on loop. He takes forever on the entrance. GD tries jumpstaring but Jannetty knocks him around then sends him out of the ring. Jannetty telegraphs by Western Union then GD takes over. Jannetty pulls GD out of the ring then drives him into the steps, in turn GD throws Marty into the post outside. GD suplexes Marty back in and gets a 2. Jannetty rallies for a moment but GD polishes him off with the face first vertical suplex and pin around 10 minutes. Good stuff 2 1/2 stars.

Yokozuna w Jim Cornette and Mr Fuji vs King Mabel w Sir Mo
Because the big boys crushed Takers face and put him out Monsoon demands that they face eachother tonight. This is probably the piss break match of the night. Looks like two guys fighting over who's first in the buffet line. Yoko wins the punchfest and Mabel bails. Nothing match. Both guys end up outside and fight to a double countout in 5 minutes. Bleh 1 star. But what can you expect? Cornette and Mo try to calm both guys down. Then they give the worlds fattest hug.
Shawn Michaels comes out to forfeit the IC title and Douglas snatches it away. Why did the bookers give him the belt??? I still don't reconize it as a legit reign. Douglas snatches the belt from Shawn who walks back to the dressing room without altercation.

Dean Douglas Vs Razor Ramon
Razor gets the upperhand earlier and the prick heel runs away. Pretty good stuff. Both guys countering and Razor reverses an irish whip out of the corner and catches Douglas with a belly to back suplex then shockingly gets the pin but Douglas's leg is clearly under the ropes. Ref decision stands. Oddball ending to a decent match. 2 stars.

World Heavyweight Title Match
Diesel Vs The British Bulldog Davyboy Smith w Jim Cornette
Bret Hart sitting in on commentary. I can guess where this is going. Diesel quickly overpowers Davy but Bulldog uses chopblocks to take em down. Bulldog works the leg for quite awhile then he mocks Bret at ringside by trying to use the sharpshooter. It's a sloppy attempt and Diesel gets out quickly. Diesel rallies and knocks Bulldog outside. Diesel tries to post Bulldog but Davy shoves him off into the post then for no reason slaps Bret in the face who attacks Davy drawing a dq 18 minutes into it. Diesel and Bret get into a scuffle and it sets up their Survivor Series match. Meh. Ill go 2 1/2 stars. Didn't care for the ending.
Overall Opinion: Well??? It stinks.
Final Score: Ill go 2.9.
