'Gone Nuts' would Be A Better Title

"Gone Nuts" would be a better name for this flick because that is exactly what happened to an Austrailian lass as she sailed her yacht around the world. Interestingly, this low budget production was advertised as being about a woman who sees a series of "sinister spirits" while out at sea; however, I think they had it all wrong. This lady was crazy, plain and simple. What the producers termed "sinister spirits," I called auditory and visual hallucinations. Not to say, the poor woman didn't have good reason for being off her rocker. For instance, a dying father and clinically depressed mother who committed suicide, not to mention a fiance with questionable motives, would surely place a heavy burden on almost anyone.

So, does the woman complete her mission and go on to international fame as being one of a handful of woman sailors to go solo around the world, or does she succumb to the so called "sinister spirits?" I guess you'll have to watch and find out. I will add one more note. The ending left me kind of up in the air — or should I say, "out to sea."

I come here a lot because it's a well lighted place.

You're probably right about the title. Maybe then more of the people who posted "huh?" messages here would have understood what was going on. Maybe the people promoting this film didn't understand what was going on either, and that's why it was advertised the way you described. Or maybe they didn't think people would go see a movie about a woman on a boat slowly losing her mind.
