Symbolism + The End

Who did the cat symbolize? Her inner "super ego" trying to rationalize and make choices through sarcasm? If so, who did she symbolize when playing herself, in her delusions, what's left when you're split apart? Dunno, didn't really pay much attention, might watch it again, but that ending was quite bad, everything just "stopped", I can't believe that "mother flies away into a golden warm light" was real, that was soooo cheesy I though it was another trick by that "inner demon mother", but I guess this passes as classy and subtle in Australia, that big golden light and ascencion went out in 1950's Cartoons in the US I guess.

Oh well, could have been better, wasn't bad, the ending was queer. Were the pirates/sailors on the Oil Tanker real EVER?

And i suppose you pass for intelligent in what ever superficial dumb *beep* group of people you pretend to represent.Having a half-assed opinion on a b-grade movie that 99 percent of Australia didn't see is one thing, but pretending to be intelligent by using parenthesis around words you don't understand while belittling us,i would almost think you were a pommie?
