Thank you , Sir Matthew Ryan Hoge

My review for this beautiful movie :

" I Feel Sorry For Everyone Who Didn't Get It: Check-In To The Real World "

As a sufferer from a personality disorder , I had a very rough time watching this and saying this is something I never want to do but I had to , because I owe it to this fabulous piece of art .

This masterpiece was heart-wrenching , maybe because it perfectly showed to other " perfectly-normal " how many people around them suffer , maybe because it showed how some people refuse to be responsible for the most important people in their lives " their families " and spend their worthless lives writing fiction , maybe because it showed how stupid people laugh at troubled individuals as Leland ( who wouldn't change but would have been much better seeing a psychiatrist ) or mentally ill individuals as Ryan ( who should have definitely been given better care and support ) instead of sacrificing their precious time in loving them and actually talking to them , maybe because it showed how people would label someone as " dangerous " or " bad " because this person had to be a drug addict at 12 or 13 to escape a heart-breaking truth ..

I definitely recommend this to everyone " perfectly-normal " out there , but if you are a sufferer of any psychological or mental disorder of any kind , I am not sure if this is going to help you and maybe urge you to seek help and get better , or would just tear your heart apart and make you suffer more than you did . It is good if you can handle both , as another reviewer here suggested .

I do not know how to thank the people who made this movie enough , especially director and writer Matthew Ryan Hoge and Ryan Gosling ( with a special Thank You to Mr Gosling who never gets afraid to portray all these complications , as he did in Lars And The Real Girl and The Place Beyond The Pines . I owe you a lot of my personal growth , and even though I knew some of what the movie had to say but you added to me a lot , especially to my idea of what a family should be , and how to get my priorities straight if I ever have to go through something like that , and I hope your message and masterpiece get to those " perfectly- normal " people who certainly haven't made the world a better place .

i thought it sucked. Gosling was miscast.

i no point was engaged in him or what he did or why he did. he just looked bored.

i told you not to stop the boat. Now lets go. Apocaylpse Now

Well, every movie is for someone. He looked bored to you, but this was a very important movie for me. We can't always agree on the same thing :)
