They really didn't give a *beep* about Becky. Its no surprise she is screwed up.

Could be the result of Becky being the way she is. Maybe the mom just gave up on her because of the drugs. I think your interpretation is probably right, but who knows. Not a great mom in either case though.

I didn't take that statement as her not giving a *beep* about Becky. She is telling Julie's boyfriend that she has lost one child to murder, and another to drugs. Julie is all she has left.

I totally agree with the OP .

For real , do you people think that this is the poor girl's fault ?! Is it her fault to be a drug addict at like 14 or 15 ?! Never asked yourself why ?! Also , what do you mean " lost her to drugs " ? If someone makes mistakes , it doesn't mean his life ended !

Can't judge her as a person , but the woman is not my role model as a mother .

Ummm.... I'm sorry but I missed the part where her being forced to stick a needle in her arm was discussed. ANYONE that knows what intravenous drug use is, KNOWS that it is a SURE road to HELL on earth!! It was COMPLETELY her fault. My sister stuck a needle in her arm 35 years ago and her life from then, up to today is a desolate ruin. No her life wasn't ended but it was laid waste.

I don't love her.. She kicked me in the face!!
