This is essentially 'Scarface' minus ohhhooo I dont' know, about 50 IQ points. If it took the writer longer then 30 minutes to write this piece of crap, then he does not have his GED.

i whole heartedly agree with you on this.............i felt like i lost precious brain cells watching this *beep* not mentioning the hour and change out of my life.......Paid in full is a better movie if i were to compare the two even though i shouldn't because PIF was much better to me, hence i can't even mention this film in the same sentence with scarface unless the phrase "doesn't even compare" is in between the two. Plus that "get down , or lay down" line was so corny i didn't know if i should laugh or get mad that i was watching this thing ,also the acting was mediocre at best.

The other night, my wife mentioned her displeasure of seeing a black teenager wearing a Scarface t-shirt. She mentioned that fictional characters like Tony Montana, Nikki Santoro (Casino), etc. would spit upon this young man upon finding out that they were idolized in this sort of fashion. I also remember reading in detail about how Jay-Z attacked Lance Rivera during a party years ago. It was reminiscent of The Godfather Part 2 and Scarface. I would hate to agree with my wife but she made some great points about how our wonderful young African American men are idolizing fictional gangsters, wise-guys, and scumbags so much so that they are using them as inspiration to destroy life.

The subject matter of drugs and death didn't bother me near as much as the way these so called "hero thugs" treat their wives and families. They are worthless if these are real people.
As for the acting Dwayne Grant (Benie Sigel) didn't have but one side to his charictor the entire movie, but he may in fact have some talent... Good luck to him and please play something other than a thug...He's better than that..
