does anybody know if this film will be released on DVD? I can't get to any of the screenings unfortunately

I talked with Greg Pak and he told me that he's trying to release the dvd around Christmas time this year. He's currently working on getting funding for it. I wouldn't mind getting the dvd because he said there's an alternate ending to the fourth film, "clay", which he told us but I won't reveal it here.

Kino Interational will release ROBOT STORIES on region one dvd with commentary and extras, shortly.

The official release date for the DVD is February 8, 2005. It will retail
for $29.95.

The DVD is available to rent at my video store, but we're an independent, it probably isn't going to be at your local blockbuster.

It's at Hollywood video at least, dunno about BB. I loved it, great movie!

I know this post was years ago, but I wanted to add that Netflix has it streaming until Nov 1, 2011. Then possibly for mail to home?

I just watched it and I really liked it a lot. (Not everyone seems to get it, unfortunately. Ah well.)
