I'm a Spanish guy who spent his Erasmus year in Birmingham. I'd love to watch a film set in the city to remind my time there.

Atom Egoyan's 'Felicia's Journey' is set in Birmingham but hopefully it won't remind you too much of your time there.
An interesting one is Macbeth on the estate. It takes the play and sets it in a modern setting and has always stuck with me as one of the better modern day Shakespeare adaptations.
