What a bogus way to cover up the fact that he was lip synching. Could he make it any more obvious? How friggin' lame.

I agree -- pathetic, especially since he was actually singing the old J5 songs, and lip synching his own solo hits. In Beat It, you can see he smeared his lipstick all over his face and hand.
shareDude, he was NOT lip syncing...LOL he was covering because sometimes the mics don't pick up everything.. it was even off pitch sometimes, so obviously NOT lip synced... AND he is talking throughout the performance...
Did you guys watch it?? There is NO FREAKIN WAY he was lip syncing... Plus MJ doesn't do that....
First off, he was not covering his mouth the whole time and anyone who's familiar with his performances can tell he wasn't lip synching for all of it. Also, alot of times the performance will be altered from how it sounded live in post production.
