Made me very emotional...

Everything about this is beautiful and I could not help but tear up...

These beautiful people are so in tuned with their emotions, their community. So passionate. The level of selflessness they have is something that is rare here in the states. I say this though only to state that they take on the duty to work constantly to literally help their village, their family. Send money and aid. The momentary joys of the "modern" life here, television, fashion trends etc. have no real dominance in their life as it does with most people. Very un-spoiled by the materialistic culture. They feel so connected to their land, to each other. Their friendliness and really just about everything about them is so peaceful.

Just imagine coming from a childhood that was flipped and torn apart, families left and killed, surviving on the hope that everything will work out. The courage to even want to go on, to decide that if given the chance, you would work, work, work just to help enrich the lives of those left behind. I mean, I have seen people crumble under less stress. I've seen people turn to the selfish, greedy side of their heart for less. Honestly, a lot of lessons can be learned from all indigenous people. A level of civility we tend to right off because it is not backed by modern, technological advances.

To sum it up, this film proved that the evil man has in his heart for personal gain, selfish tendencies, is indeed NOT just human behavior. It is learned. Only when we re-connect ourselves with our community, our land, this earth (a personal relationship with it all), then we can move forward in a healthy new light. Caring souls will be the only redemption of man kind.
