I got the album on CD. I guess that's the closest you're gonna get, for now.

There are bootleg copies around. Some even have the rare 'The T.V. Show" pilot from 1979 with the introduction of "Spinal Tap" added to the disc.
The quality is pretty good from what I've seen.
Not sure why National Lampoon just doesn't release a higher quality version themselves & make some money off of it. Plus this would be a nice document for a peice of comedy history.
