Worst piece of crap I have ever seen!!!
It's a musical, but it often forgets it's a musical.
The songs are terrible.
The only good thing in the movie is Natalia Verbeke. She's HOT!
i have to say i agree with everything you say - i thought this film was utterly atrocious. i've got nothing against musicals, but i do object to pointless drivel like this.

Good plot. Good acting. Good loking girls, good looking dialogues, good looking end. Good songs. Good funny scenes.

The songs were hideous
There were a couple of funny moments.
The acting waa respectable.
The plot straight out of a cheesy American sit-com.
The characters were extremely underdeveloped.
The women were smokin' hot.
overall - Mediocre at best.
The movie is great, veeery funny. I think the problem with the songs is that you don't know them. They are very popular Spanish songs, so its really amzing how they use it for every situation, but it's much more funny is you know the original song before. Anyway, veeeeery sexy girls and guy!

I loved the movie. it's obvioulsy not an oscar nominee but it's fun and personally i love the songs most of them are famous songs by respectable artists. Fun songs fun movie!

This is one of my top-ten favorite foreign films of all time. I think it's fresh, engaging, and sweet. The music (I didn't know they were popular songs) and choreography were a lot of fun.
And. I find it very Shakespearean. Think about whatever you know about Shakespeare's pastoral comedies, and you'll see what I mean... We had mistaken identities, quarrelsome lovers, at least FIVE weddings, interludes of song and dance -- what else do you need?

I didn't hate it, but I find it quite mediocre. They managed to dumbify a potential intelligent tale into something worse than your average soap. Only the girls are hot...
Songs? What songs? I saw this on Mexico cable so there were no subtitles in English or otherwise and I got so annoyed trying make out the damn Spanish accents (even though I basically understand Spanish)I finally turned the sound down, and it's a GREAT movie that way. Paz Vega and Natale Verbeke are smoking hot and have lots of nude scenes, and one of my favorite Spanish sexploitation stars from the 80's, Blanca Marsillach, has a cameo role.
There IS something much worse than a musical with gratuitous nudity and smoking hot Spanish actresses--a musical WITHOUT gratuitous nudity and smoking hot Spanish actresses. Try it again with the sound turned down--it's a lot better.

first of all, sorry to bring you back to this post almost 4yrs after but I had to reply to someone :)
I liked it! The actors are not the best ever and they try to keep the film light and simple as the plot itself doesn't aspire to be one of the most complex nor intelligent ever (not that type of spanish film).
Everything in this movie felt kind of young and amateur to me and since this is a romantic comedy with some musical moments, a few extra points there.
Overall, I found it really entertaining and it made me laugh.
Imo though, it starts amazingly well, then we loose our interest a bit only to get excited again towards the end.
