Homosexual undertones

I'm sorry but this entire movie had homosexual undertones. My sister agreed as well. Who ever created this movie tried to be sneaky about it but you can tell. Even in the first movie, I remember a part where a diner white lady said the creeper enjoyed sniffing dirty male draws. And in this movie, the creeper only wants men, he winks and licks his lips at them. Some of the shirtless shots from the guys were unnecessary. I also don't get the point of them showing the guys pee at some scenes. The director, producer, writers etc of this movie have got to be gay. I'm starting to believe that whole "hollywood" industry is gay.

Nothing you see on these movies is random.

So bloody what? Take a look at any other film and you could easily say it had 'hetrosexual undertones'.

Well the Director is gay so it figures he'd promote his lifestyle. I also didn't get the men standing shoulder to shoulder and peeing. I don't know any straight men that do that. Funny the coach even made a point out of it, "All of you at the same time?" Not to mention the cheerleaders were conservatively dressed but the men had their shirts off 80 percent of the time.

It's true that the dude was convicted of statutory rape back in the 90s or 80s. A lot of people won't watch his movies on account, same as Polanski I guess. The guy is also gay though and I think, like the OP, that's all that manifests in this movie (although, unlike the OP I don't think there's anything wrong with that).

I don't think there's really anything peadiphilic going on here. How can there be "pedohilic undertones" in a movie with no children in it? I mean, these guys are all high school seniors, and what's more, they're portrayed by a bunch of adults who are clearly well into their 20s lol. I guess you could allude to something with the missing boy from the beginning, but that's a tiny portion of the movie and you still have to want to interpret it that way, there really is nothing indicating that you should.

Do you have repressed homosexual tendencies? Because you're protesting way too hard...

I forgive you.

Not sure if you're complaining about these issues or just pointing them out. But you're absolutely right. I'm a gay man and I sensed it a mile away, it's present in the first movie but in the second one it's not so hidden.

In the first one:

He's smelling Dary's underwear and loving it.

He goes after the men in the jail house.

They make special mention of Dary's tattoo on his belly button and show it.

In the second one:

The shirtless boys are singing about cocks (yeah it's implied to be roosters but so what?)

The boys are shirtless laying on the roof sunbathing.

The boys are pissing so close together.

The one boy seems pissed that the Izzy boy isn't into him and is talking about him being gay while he's taking a piss.

Both films are definitely gay. The question is, do you have a problem with this?

If you love someone, set them free. If they come back, nobody else wanted them either.

No, why should anyone? Nothing overt happens in the whole film - it's not even especially gory, let alone in any way sexualized.

As for complaints over the shirtless athletes - isn't it time we had a little equal opportunity objectification? Horror fans aren't all exclusively heterosexual men as was believed in the 80s. Women and gay blokes like horror too.

Don't take my comments as complaints. I like the second movie much more than the first because of its homo-eroticism. Watching it right now and the guys getting all worked up on that bus and most of them are shirtless and singing about fighting cocks...it's hot as hell. The guy in the back seat was shirtless and has his arm around the other guy...might pass by someone unsuspecting but I'm gay and I'd give anything to have a hot guy put his arm around me while chanting about his fighting cock.

You're an idiot.

Strange of you to think the movie is with homosexual undertones.

You do realized the Creeper was only after those who fears it.

Recalling the 1st JP, Patricia was not afraid of the Creeper but Darry

Same for JP2, the girls was not as scared as the boys. (ok..not a good argument since the boys outnumbered the girls in the sequel)

But if you go back to JP1, in the scene where Darry crawled into the hole next to the chapel, you could see bodies of both sexes all over the wall.

if anything, both JPs movies made me realized 1 thing. That girls are not easily scared as the boys (they do after all go thru childbirth :-)

so let's enjoy the movie for what it was intended and not 2nd guessing the undertones

'We only against the things we're guilty of'

You'd have to be blind not to see it. It was so blatantly obvious.

For the countless movies and television shows that feature shirtless & bottomless girls, girls that go to the bathroom together, girls that shower together, girls kissing each other, etc. you need to complain about this ONE movie?

The director, producer, writers etc of this movie have got to be gay. I'm starting to believe that whole "hollywood" industry is gay.

WTF!? You and your sister must not watch very many films if you believe that "hollywood" is gay. Grow the *beep* up.
