An original version sequel of Inspector Gadget 2

This movie is a lot different than the first one, why did Walt Disney studios replace the 1999's actors with the different ones? If the cast that were chosen in the first place to live-act in this movie aren't the right ones why did they hire them? It just doesn't make sense with the first movie made and then the sequel for it is a lot different. If there is going to be an Inspector Gadget 3 then there should be a 1999 version of Inspector Gadget 2 with all the 1999's actors especially Matthew Broderick as Officer John Brown/Inspector Gadget, Michelle Trachtenberg as Penny and D.L. Hughley as the voice of the gadget mobile. It's alright for the reboot of Inspector Gadget, but I just felt that the 1999 film's actors in this sequel. I'm not giving up hope on it
