I watched this movie twice and find it very thrilling, much better than some other movie versions of MHC books. But although I read all Mary Higgins Clark novels, I simply cannot find out on which book this film actually is based?
Does anybody know?

I checked my copy of that novel, but that's not the story. "On the Street where you live" takes place in Spring Lake, NJ, and has a different plot than "Haven't we met before?".
If it's based on one of MHC's short stories, I won't have a chance of finding it as I'm not into short stories at all.

I'm sorry that I can't help you about identifying the story. I just want to let you know that I think that this is a good thriller too.
This was on our True Entertainment channel who had a Mary Higgins Clark day on Saturday. Two other MHC movies that I watched then was 'Loves Music, Loves To Dance' and 'You Belong To Me.'
I think that 'Haven't We Met Before' is the best of the trio that I saw. Reincarnation/regressing etc. might not be a popular subject for TV drama but I lapped this one up with relish.
