end of movie ***spoiler****

Now i bought this movie on DVD and wanted to know some things
1)Did anyone see the end were Tully was on the phone? It was at end of the credits
2) The music video it shows what happened to everyone (graduating, having baby and marrage.
Did any one else see them because i have been the one telling all of my friends about them

reply

I rented the dvd of Deliver US From Eva. I think it was a good idea to have that future telling kind of thing in that music video of K-Ci and JoJo.

reply

i though the end of the movie where we find out the hairstylist isn't gay is the stupidest thing. it makes no sense and doesn't do anything for the story line.

reply

Well, I think If it was supposed to do anything for the story line it would have been in the actual movie.

reply

I think the video really was effective for the story, I think Tully's phone call was hilarious

reply

living in LA i thought the Tully phonebooth scene for funny as hell

reply

whats the kci and jojo song????

reply

This very moment is the name of the song.

I'm mad i didnt know about the phone call tully made. I rented it and didnt watch it to the end.
by the way, why do they do that? put a part at the end of the movie after the credits. i think its so stupid because most of the population turn the movie off when the credits start rolling.

reply

They do that so people watch the credits. I mean all those names are there for a reason they worked on the film. I always stay for the credits

reply

No, they put outtakes during the credits so people watch. We're not pyschic, we didnt know there would be anything at the end. Therefore we arent going to watch some names for no reason.

reply

1)I did see the end where telly' on the phone with his girlfriend, saying that he was only gay for pay.
2) And yes, the vidoe and song where they all succeed in life is great. But you know what, you brought up a valid point to me. This video does show what would have happened after the movie.I just always thought it was just a video.

"Eva's sisters gave her a cross with Jesus on it for her birthday, the next day Jesus was gone!"

The end credits scene was perhaps not executed well, but it makes sense. All of the characters play in the game of dating and achieving the relationship they want, and that requires them to lie and fake some things. The one character everyone assumes is completely upfront and doesn't have a cover is the gay hairdresser, so the end credits scene goes back and plays with your perception and how you view men and women based on their appearance (like Eva did with Ray in the beginning).
