I don't LOVE love this movie but I really like this movie. Its really cool. Really. I can really see that Gabrielle Union becoming a big star after this movie and Bad Boys 2. I like the way she was talking back to people esp. her sisters' boyfriends/husbands. That was too good to be true. LOL

i dont like it it was just good enough to sit through

i agree with christian123, wasnt a good movie, but if you have nothing better else to do..this isnt a movie that you would rather pull your hair then watch.

Movie has some fine moments but after a while the Eva character's personality is really annoying.

I love this movie because it shows the truth that all women need is a good bone to quit being b*tches

I thought that the writing was horrible and the acting was sub-par at best. The best part of the movie was the opening and that was only because they picked such an amazing song. They should have just gotten some dancers for the opening sequence because those brothers looked horrible. But the movie on a whole just didn't do it for me.

I didn't really like the movie that much although I have a personal connection to it. One of my male friends showed me this movie on one of our "dates" (there was something going on between us at the time but we never did anything but kiss since I wasn't sure) Anyway!! At this time I trained a horse called Romeo which later got sold. So when I think about this movie I think about Evas horse Romeo and then I start thinking about "my" horse and what almost could have been with my friend... I found out that the only reason he showed me the movie was to kind of say that if he could... he would also buy me a horse named Romeo.. Kinda cute but I'm not really a romantic girl... too bad! :)

lol so true

I did. I loved it because I know someone just like Eva: My own aunt. She was a mean and nasty person, always getting in people's business. Then once she found a man her entire life changed and she became the nicest person you can imagine.

This movie is one of my favorites. I was in Chicago on a business trip a couple of years ago before this movie was released on DVD. As tired as I was, I ordered this movie in my hotel room and really enjoyed it. Gabrielle Union is just the cutest young lady around (her and Nia Long); almost too cute to play the role of a piece of work like Eva.

Personally, I would have thrown her out of my house for her book clube meeting. I would have told her in no uncertain terms that since there was no man at HER house, they could have had the meeting there since Timothy and Kareenah agreed that Tim could use the house to watch the game with the guys.

I love this movie. I think it's one of those movies where you can see it like a thousand times but still love it. It doesn't ever get old for me.

I liked "Deliver Us From Eva" much more than I thought I would. Part of that must be thanks to Gabrielle Union, whose charisma and talent I think carries well through most of her performances. I feel the film mixed humor and "heart" consistently well, never getting too sappy, but being mindful not to turn idiotic, either. "Romantic comedies" typically aren't my flavor, but "Deliver Us From Eva" wasn't the worst way in which ever I've killed a couple of hours.

I was very offended when I was compared to Eva by an old coworker (based on what I saw on the trailers)....then I saw the movie. LOVED IT!!!

And, yeah...I could see where one might see me in that character. LOL!!!!
