best argentinian movie??????????

in the lastest edition of the movie magazine "Godard" from Peru they make a inquiry about the new wave in the argentinian films and the critics agree that the best movie is "Bolivia".
Is a very hard question, but i'm agree...

What do you think????

I do not think so, but it is a good film you'd better check " esperando la carroza" or "un oso rojo" From Adrian Caetano also which i think it is the best argentinian film ever.

Bolivia is good it reminds me of "do the right thing " by Spike Lee....

This movie is racist film trying to pass itself off as something else and in the end, it is just badly made. When the immigrant is killed in the movie there is absolutely no accountability by the filmmaker, which sends the message that it is okay to behave in this crude racist manner. *It is basically a film about an immigrant getting abused and finally killed with no consequences. In addition, the photography and sound are REALLY POOR. It also seems that the people that are truly hyping this film are the friends (Buff-29, Scruffy-13) of the director. Just read the reviews and you can tell that this is obvious pure self-promotion. It seems that the dynamic around this film is more about self-marketing than viability. Finally, since this film is about racist people in Argentina and how they treat immigrants... the chosen title makes no sense. It is just another ridiculous racist ploy.

There are many better films from Argentina. They have a wonderful history of film making. "The Official Story", "El Secreto de sus Ojos", "Apartment Zero" are good examples of that. This film does not match up to those on that list.

This film is not racist, it is about racism. Both are not the same.

*******
I think it was poorly made.

Its hard to pick the best Argentinian film. If I make a list, it would include

La nube by Solanas, XXY (2007), La rabia(2008), The Secret in Their Eyes (2009), The Aura (2005), Lion's Den (2008), The Headless Woman (2008), The Swamp (2001),

it was definitely shot like a nouvelle vague/new wave movie. i felt troubled by what seemed like exaggeratation. there's a lot of petty crime, and definitely more trouble with guns now, but it's nothing like the u.s.

It's a very good movie, but definitely not the best!

Prostitute: What the *beep* are you doing?
Johnny: I'm gonna kill a bunch of people.
