The golden eye?


So what exactly was up with that whole eye thing? It seemed like it was meant as a plot twist; with Claire being the true murder of Dr. Reyna, but then Murchison said that Walters was the true murderer, even though his eyes looked nothing like the photo! Anyone have a clue what that was all about?

He did actually have the brown spot in his eye, you can see it in the final scene at least. And that was supposed to be the identifying mark, because a spot like that is rare.

Actually, they made it clear far earlier in the move: "The image has been altered." If you take that into account, it's easy to guess that they were trying to tag her as a red herring, just like she suggested...
