Seriously, when Raven announced it I was so underwhelmed. Why make her a single mother and make the kid the focus? Raven is young enough where she could be a single woman living her life with her two best friends and they get into funny, adult situations. Don't know she wouldn't just make an adult version of the show. Enough of us would have tuned in and it could have been risque and creative. This revival plot is so lazy and uninspired.
Honestly, I'm just thrilled that it will be back in some capacity at all. I'd prefer her not to be a mother too, because it feels like the focus is going to be on her kids instead of her. Reminds me of the Boy Meets World revival. I want to watch this for RAVEN, not her kids.
That being said, if Anneliese doesn't return I will be severely disappointed. Out of everyone, I think she needs to return and be roommates with Raven. I know - cliche. But it needs to happen.
It literally sounds similar to Fuller House. It was funny watching Candace's face as Raven described it lmao.

I think Raven is too young for this concept. How old are her kids going to be? I would think one needs to be at least 10 or we wont want to watch the kids. If that was the case Raven was married and started having kids at 20? I meam Raven herself is only 30. I know plenty of people start having kids quickl but that never seemed like the Raven character. I doubt theyd play it as she accid got pregna very young so that aspect seems dumb to me.
At least with Girl Meets World Cory and Topan were always a couple and were married by the end of the show. I can buy they immediately had a child although I think the time line was kind of off on it too with the age of their daughter. Fuller House is actually the only one where the timeline seems to fit.
I wonder if they will age Raven up, to her actual age.

Or since its a show about the future they jump forward in time to where it would take place in like 2020-2025.
I agree. She is too young. But this made me wonder if they are planning on some grown up focused shows on the Disney channel since they are having trouble with the ratings on freeform and abc. They used to have shows that were geared towards all ages on Disney like road to avonlea.
