Which is better? Human Remains or Nighty Night, Season 1?

I LOVED them both! (although Nighty Night S2, not at much.)

I'm curious what other people think.

I think Julia Davis was spectacular in both.

I liked Rob Brydon better (H.R.) than Angus Deayton (N.N.). A lot better.

Not them personally, of course, but their roles and the dynamic between them and Davis' character. Davies is such a comedic force that I imagine it's hard to play against her.

HOWEVER, I liked the longer-form in Nighty Night better.

H.R. gave us great little snapshots but Nighty Night had a full story with more developed characters. So I liked that part a lot better.

So, I'm not sure which I like better! Anyone else seen them both and have an opinion?

I loved both, and you can add to the list these other superb britcoms .. "Marion and Jeff" and "Posh Nosh".

The "curly sausage casserole" episode of "Human Remains" had me gagging with laughter.

Thanks for the tips on the other shows. Sadly I couldn't find either in Netflix of my other source for videos. Still, maybe I'll come across them if I travel tothe UK.

I'm not sure about "Marion and Jeff", but all of "Posh Nosh" is available on You Tube ...each of the episodes is only about 10 minutes long.

You might also look out for "That Mitchell and Webb Look", insane, very funny sketch comedy, and "Let Them Eat Cake" ...Jennifer Saunders and Dawn French do mrie-Antoinette, versailles and all that, and also the British series of "The Worst Week of my Life"... all on DVD.

Thanks for the tip -- I'll keep an eye out for them. I see that "Mitchell and Webb" are available for streaming at Neflix. The others are not.
