My favourite comedy series ever

Human remains i must have watched a thousand times, and never get bored of watching. My favourite episode varies from week to week, and what a combination they all make. Rob Brydon is a legend in my eyes, and i love Julia Davis as well and it s a real joy to see them as half a dozen tragic beliveable, belly achingly funny, brilliantly acted comedy couples. If you love great british comedy like i do, then you have to see this, seriously, its genius. I can only dream of a second series, and can also believe that it could happen, and also because a cat has eaten a mouse in my house.

I couldn't agree more. This show is perfect and a work of real comedy genius. Rob Brydon and Julia Davis are just brilliant comedy writers and performers. I also love Rob Brydon's Marion & Geoff and Julia Davis's Nighty Night.

I'm told that Julia Davis and Mark Gatis are currently writing a sitcom together which should be nothing other than brilliant. Thankfully all the mentioned people here have NOT! become complacent like those Little Britain guys.

I doubt we'll see a second series of Human Remains though. But who knows? Maybe Brydon and Davis will write together again someday.

Although I don't hold out much hope for a second series, I actually think it could work really well if they were to revisit the couples however many years down the line. They could follow the trend of those documentaries that go back to follow the lives of their original subjects, and by working in footage from the original series they could overcome the fact that any new audience brought to the show could easily follow it, and see it as something new, rather than a continuation that needs to have had prior viewing.

I also heard about Julia and Mark writing something together, which is bound to be great. They work great together, seem to get along very well in interviews, and considering how much more scenes they shared in the second series of 'Nighty Night', they clearly enjoy working together.

Yes, 'Human Remains' is brilliant, but I think that 'People Like Us' is even more clever, and funnier. It's the greatest use of the English language that I've ever seen.
