Ninja Swords is good, instead of guns? Because by the trailer (yes, I didn't watch the movie yet) the movie Naked Weapon is very good!!!

I love movies with female leads that kick major ass. Elektra was OKAY...but not as good as i expected. I like how acresses are not actually training and getting involved with their roles. I go to Hollywood Video and see this Briget Fonda movie laying there all the time and it makes me think of all those old movies where acresses were just given a gun and told what to do. I mean Tara Reid in alone in the dark was pathetic. Hillary Swank in Million Dollar Baby on the other hand...

Look them up, they're all classic films!

Some good ones are anime. I suggest Noir and Madlax. Some people like the English dubs of these, but I only watch them with the subtitles on and the original Japanese soundtrack. See here:

I'm also a huge fan of "girls and guns" genre movies and "So Close" is one of my personal favorites. I've also seen my share of these type of movies and love movies like "Naked Weapon", "Angel", "Heroic Trio", "Police Story 3: Super Cop", "Kill Bill: Vol. 1" and "She Shoots Straight".

Movies like "Silver Hawk", "Azumi", "Sky High", "Underworld" and "Shura Yuki Hime" were okay but not great.

"Ultra Violet", "Æon Flux" and "Resident Evil" all had potential but failed miserably.

There's an upcoming Thai movie called "Chocolate" that's supposed to be very good.

Anyone have other recommendations?

I think 'DOA: Dead Or Alive' and 'Silent Hill' can be added to this list. Not to mention 'Resident Evil: Extinction'. What about 'The Brave One' (with Jodie Foster)?

I really liked "Naked Weapon" ;o) Anya Wu was hot! ^^

one of my favorite HK actress is "Cynthia Khan" but that has all been mentioned before ... ;o)
