LOL this movie is soooo dumb
Caught it on Netflix today. There is so much wrong with this turkey but the budget makes it watchable and thus kinda fun.

The book was really good...but very technical, like most of Michael Crichton..movie wasn't that bad..
shareThe book starts slowly, & is very technical in parts, but once back in the 14 century becomes interesting & suspenseful. Agree the film made little sense in parts. None of them were related to the professor.
The three that go back & the professor are very specialised in the past as they have been excavating the site, & can speak limited latic & language of the time, whilst Marek & the professor are fluent. All three students are fit, but Marek is also trained in fighting of the time.
