Can someone tell me what kind of time period is this movie ?

I kept thinking is it 70s ? 80s ? 90s ? It's not clear looking at the costume kind of old then they have 90s kind of TV then some telephone is cordless some very old looking and then the elevator. It just doesn't make sense to me.

I think it's in those time when everybody smokes but at those time they don't have that kind of TV yet + cordless phone.

one more thing,i enjoyed the flow of this film it's fast and kept me going but bad endings.

PS: i am big fan of Pedro Almodovar so this film came a bit short on my book.
