this movie is truly without sense

I agree with poster "Lasvegas_city" -- this movie is utterly, completely, * WITHOUT SENSE.* I regret having watched it, even at 32x normal speed -- which rendered the movie only nominally palatable. Please do yourself a favor and avoid the absurdity of this movie, which was: without sense.

i completely concur with peteyH. this movie was truly, no question, without sense. that's the bottom line. i actually watched/half stayed awake through it on fast forward and still felt robbed of those twenty or so minutes.

pls. do yrself a favor and watch a movie like, say, blade runner instead. *UNSTOPPABLE.* no doubt.

You may not like it, but how can you say it didn't make sense?

On a basic level, this is a "love triangle" story, with all relationships forbidden by conventional morality, whether through being extra-marital or underage.

Going beyond this, the title, and much of the focus, makes clear the destructive effect religion, and particularly Catholicism, has on perceptions of reality. Amalia is unable to understand her 'crush' because of the indoctrinated views of the church, Josefina is conflicted in her sexual experimentations because of the church's teachings on "premartial relations".

There are many other issues; where do our sympathies lie? Do we blame the girl for her manipulative actions or excuse them because of her age? Dr Jano is well respected and rejects Amalia outright, not even allowing a kiss, and we have some sympathy for his torment, but then again he rubs himself against a young girl twice! As for the mother, she seems to have no idea whatsoever about her daughter, despite their persistent physical closeness, and I personally find her the least attractive of the three as a person.

Loads going on, but very basic as a story. M<akes no sense? Either you are being overly dramatic, or you are thick.
