I managed to watch it to the end. I honestly TRIED to find something, anything, to like in this film. I even tried to find something to hate in it.
Here was a ten-minute story bloated out to over 90 minutes that felt more like 180 minutes. What a gigantic disappointment!
Well, no time you spend will you ever get back. I found Morton to be enthralling as she so usually is. The film obviously isn't for everyone but I love these kind of films, British made where they aren't all talking like they've jumped out of a Hugh Grant movie. I find them to have a kind of charm. Morvern Callar, Me Without You etc. I find the dynamic between friends in these movies to be more interesting than your usual fodder.
