Manchester United, team or business

Is anyone else getting the impression that Man U are more interested in making money than being a successful team. I have gotten to the point that I dont even consider them a team any more, just an enterprise like coca cola or virgin. And to make things worse, half the country supports them. I hate those people from nowhere near manchester that apparently have supported them since they were 3, or their great uncle went to see them play! Fair play to actual Mancunians (excuse the spelling) that support the club, but the rest of you make me sick...

What are you talking about? Almost all football fans in Britain supports a British club. I know hundreds of football fans and only know one person who supports a foreign team. Support your home club you silly person, you will never experience the true meaning of football until you do...

Until a few seasons ago, they were a football club, but basically since the turn of the century (or thereabouts) they've been nothing more than a moneymaking machine, who think it's their God-given right to win every match, every cup and swagger round like they own the country. God, I hate them!

I'm Luke I'm five and my Dad's Bruce Lee, drives me round in his JCB!

a few years ago manchester united removed the words "football club" from their logo to signify themselves that they are no longer just a football team.
