Ollie Trinkle was a loved publicist.
Ben Affleck was a loved actor.

One day, Ollie and J-Lo's character start making a baby and after the baby comes, his career starts to end.
One day, Ben Affleck and J-Lo make Gigli and after Gigli comes, his career starts to end.

Ollie then moves to New Jersey and gets a new job.
Ben Affleck then starts to do more independent films.

Coincidence? I think not.

since jersey girl, ben affleck has been in 4-5 movies, most have a pretty well known cast.

the only analogy here is for Kevin Smith's career.

if you listen to enough of his podcasts, especially Plus One, you will realize Ollie is him. He had a choice to stay with fame and hollywood 100 million dollar films and big money and "the dream" but he chose to do *beep* podcasts in his spare room with his friends and his wife and spend more time with his kid and his wife.

when they went to shoot red state, they shot it in california so he could spend time with his family. he puts Schwalbach in his films not just because they are best friends and he always puts friends in films, and not just because she is a good actor, but because guarantees they will be spending time together.
