Hands down "jersey girl" is kevin smiths worst movie simply because it wasn't rated R and felt too dramatic and family concentrated. I mean c'mon, there were no F-bombs and guys making dick and sex jokes..this film just sucked hard and was so lame

He didn't write cop out, so he wasn't fully in charge of the film. It wasn't his material, and besides Cop Out was better than Jersey Girl. Cop Out wasn't that bad as people make it out to be. shareI'm a huge fan of Kevin Smith's. Love all of his movies that are tied to Clerks (Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob, Clerks II) and enjoyed Jersey Girl as well. However, I saw COP OUT once... will not watch it again! Absolute garbage. I realize he didn't write it, but I wouldn't admit to directing it either if I was him (haha). --Rick

It just sucks cause I grew up in the 90's watching his movies and loved them so much.
This movie got a lot of undeserved attention from media scum who were looking for juicy rauncy Bennifer stories. It's a sweet movie, nothing groundbreaking. But it really doesn't deserve all the hate it gets.

I also think that Shawhank Redemption, The Green Mile and Schindlers List were lacking in di*k and fart jokes which really detracted from those movies making them awful.
