Which castle was used in the film?

It was a really nice castle where the Mortmains lived in

So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past

it was manorbeir castle in wales. in reality the moat doesnt have water in and the castle itself is next to the sea! but its in such a beautiful county (pembroke) its well worth a visit just for the niceness!

Loved the film, but this was a small bone of contention for me. The novel was set in Suffolk - I'm pretty sure they stated the same in the film - but that countryside was about as unSuffolk as it could be. Very few dry stone walls in Suffolk. Very few. None in fact.

OK, I'm nit-picking, but surely they could have just said the castle was ... where it was?
Wouldn't really have changed the plot, but would have helped credibility - at zero cost.
