Right at the end of the film, after the plane has crashed etc. Dennis/John is sitting outside the house, looking out to sea, and we hear the baby chatting in the background. He puts his hand in his pocket and pulls out a newspaper cutting which says something about Barnes. I didn't have time to read this - what did it say?

Was a cutting from after Barnes's trial for his wife's murder. It says something like barnes sentenced to 20 years for brutal murder.

He said something like, an eye for an eye leaves everyone blind, so killing the guy didn't fix everything for him. After everything was over, he was still lost will probably always feel that way.
