I must admit that the main character makes people feel identified with his pain, but there are some scenes that I consider rather incredible, for instance, the way Denis and Barnes escaped from prison, or perhaps the scene on the plain, I think the actor needed to emphasize stronger that scene.

Did you mean plane? Yes, I agree it is full of implausibilities but so is every good prison story or TV series such as Prison Break. This is a first class adventure and entertainment movie not a documentary drama. Indeed even true life prison stories such as Midnight Express, Papillon or the yet to be made really good movie about Briggs the Great Train robber's Escape to Brazil, his recapture by a trick and his new escape, are incredible but true.

i thought the actors did a fine job, i wish the ending had a lil more to it, but on the whole i loved it.
