I think this probably is the most frequent result -- if there have to be two digits, both odd, both different 1 to 50: everything 1 - 9 out; also 11 and 33; also all in 20's or 40's.
So this just leaves choices among 13, 15, 17, 19, 31, 35, 37 and 39. He's really presenting a choice of eight numbers among the fifty.
In most choices within a number range, usually start guess in middle area, human nature. Probably most would automatically start around 25, realize immediately in even area, move to 30's. Would seem 35, 37, 39, could be about equal, but on second thought there just seems 37 more likely choice, because between 35 & 39. All happens in just a few seconds - but looks like thought sequence would make it most likely.
It seems also, that when folks pick a 2-digit number, however big the range, and whether restricted in some fashion like this one, normal tendency is also to pick one where secong digit is the larger.
The guy still does clever stuff. I like his close-up things better than the stunts, and enjoy his low-key, almoce laconic style.
