Sarah Pratt ? ?

Thought the female star of this film showed great acting and more. However
I seriously doubt if here real name is Sarah Pratt. Can't find a thing
about her on the net anywhere, no other movies, no bio, no nothing.

Possibly her real name is not Sarah Pratt.. Since the director of this
film likes to use real live sex scenes in most of here films and since
the boy was only 16 there could be legal issues in some countrys.

Since Sarah is obviously a very accomplished actress and also very nice
looking with an extraordinary shapely body I am sure she has done many
other names under a different name.

Actually, there are a few items that show up in her credits on this website. Also looking at the bio for Gilles Guillain, the young boy in the film, he was 19 when the film was made. I thought they were both very convincing and it does seem as if they have done more.

I do dont think there is any legal issues here-

the boy was not 16 - he was 18/19 - and Sarah Pratt has appeared in a few other things as well

Ashleybox64 ... could you please share the "few other things" that you mention Sarah Pratt has appeared in? I, and perhaps others, would like to search out her other film work. Many thanks.

I'm almost sure that the superb actor Sarah Pratt (her French is very good) is British, as in English --her accent seems to point that way, although it's an English accent that seems to have been somewhat 'flattened,' possibly through prolonged exposure to the French language (a la Jane Birkin or Charlotte Rampling, who seems to act in everything BUT English-language films these days).

Someone mentioned that she might be Canadian or American. As a Canadian, I didn't 'hear' that coming from Pratt. It's hard to tell, because, in Brief Crossing, she slips in and out of English, and she uses the latter sparingly. Ergo, we don't get good examples of prolonged 'rhythms' of her accent that would place her better. She sounds as if she might come from southern England, possibly around London, which has a myriad of accents just within the metropolitan area. Many Brits speak French of course. Hard to pin down, but it's possible she was born an Anglo-Canadian in Quebec (in Canada) or in Ottawa (on the Quebec border) and raised with both languages, as so many Anglos are in those bilingual regions. But I'm almost sure she's not in any way an American.

She totally reminded me of Julianne Moore.

Well, Sarah Pratt is pretty good, but she is still far from being able to "knock Nicole Kidman off her perch"!
