The poms did it

As usual with all our films and stories, the English are responsible for all evildoing. In this case, mainly the Privy Council, despite the progressive track record of the PC over the years; so much so that most Commonwealth countries have stopped the PC because it keeps finding people innocent and/or stopping executions e.g. Malaysia; Singapore; Jamaica and other WI countries are trying to get rid of the PC because it keeps finding against the death penalty and verdicts

Another e.g. quote from the film "More bloody British than the British".

No mention that Stuart was not even recognized as an Australian at that time.
