The best representation of love on-screen?


The conversations, the long silences, the stillness....everything that was said and done between Paul's character and Zooey's character reminded me of falling in love, to a T. To anyone that grew up in a community like that, had a meathead best friend and eccentric parents...this movie was most-likely reality.

Some wander the wilderness, some drink cosmopolitans.

In many ways I agree with you. All the naysayers should read Rodger Ebert's review if they just don't "get" this movie. Easier to do that then explain my views here.
